In the local language, St. Martin is also called Coconut Ginger. The island is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Bangladesh.

Cox’s Bazar is located 152 km south of Chittagong city. Its distance from Dhaka is 414 km. It is the largest tourist destination in Bangladesh.

Cox’s Bazar was once known as Panoya. Which literally means yellow flower. Another ancient name is palonki.

Oyster market has been developed for tourists here. The Burmese market has developed along the border with foreign goods from Myanmar (formerly Burma), Thailand, China, etc.

The Sundarbans is a marvel of nature. It is a vast forest located on the coast of the Bay of Bengal.

This forest covers the Khulna, Satkhira, and Bagerhat districts of Bangladesh and two districts of the Indian state of West Bengal, North 24 Parganas, and South 24 Parganas.

The 10,000 sq km of the Sundarbans covers 6,017 sq km in Bangladesh and the rest in India. And for those who love nature, this Sundarbans can be the most ideal place to visit.

If you want to go to Sundarbans from Dhaka, you have to go directly to Khulna by bus. Khulna can also be reached by train and plane.

You can get on the Khulna train from Dhaka’s Kamalapur to Khulna city. If you want to go by plane, you have to get off at Jessore.

Located just north of Rangamati, the Sajek Valley has two neighborhoods – Ruilui and Kanlak. Founded in 175, Ruilui Para is located at an altitude of 1,620 feet.

Ratargul is located at Gowainghat in Sylhet. There are hundreds of Hijle fruits here. Bots will also catch the eye from time to time, less murta trees. The state of this water is very strange.

A tree is submerged up to its knees in water. Those that are a little smaller, they are half submerged in water again. Fishermen are getting fishing nets somewhere.

Ratargul Swamp Forest is the only freshwater water forest and wildlife sanctuary in Bangladesh. This long area is located at Gowainghat in Sylhet.

To go to Ratargul, first you have to go from Dhaka to Sylhet. Sylhet-bound buses leave from Gabtoli, Fakirapul and Sayedabad bus terminals.

Tickets for AC buses of Green Line, Saudia, S Alam, Shyamli, ENA etc. cost 1000 taka to 1200 taka per person. And the ticket price for non-AC bus is 480 to 600 taka per person.

If you want you can go to Sylhet by train. From Kamalapur or Airport Railway Station, Upban, Jayantika, Parabat or Kalni Express departs for Sylhet.

Besides, if you have a good budget, you can fly from Dhaka to Sylhet in a very short time. The cost will increase even if your time for it is reduced.

Nafakum Falls is the name of the wonderful beauty of Bandarban. Bandarban district is one of the three hill districts of Bangladesh. Its position at the top of the list of preferences of travelers.

Thanchi is the easternmost upazila of Bangladesh. An area of this upazila is called Remakri.

Thanchi is located at a distance of 79 km from Bandarban. Thanchi Bazar is located on the banks of the river Sangu. The boat has to be slowly ascended towards Remakri along this Sangu river.

After some distance of the river, it has gone down 1-2 feet and even down to 4/5 feet.

On either side of the river you will find high hills wrapped in green. Some mountains are so high that their tops are covered with clouds.

And this whole path is waiting for you amazing beauty. Which will keep you fresh for a long time.

It is considered to be the second largest waterfall in Bangladesh after Amiyakhum Falls. This impeccably beautiful waterfall is just a two and a half hour walk from Remakri.

To go to Nafakhum Jharna you have to go to Bandarban first. Then from Bandarban to Thanchi, from Thanchi by boat to Sangu river to Remakri market.

From there you have to walk to Nafakhum of your dreams.

Note that Remakri is not allowed to leave Thanchi after 3 pm. So you must have Thanchi by 2 p.m. If not, I have to go to Remakri the next morning.

When you go to Thanchi, you can stay at the BGB-controlled border vacation center. Room rent is between 1500-3000 taka.

There are some fairly quality dining hotels in Thanchi market. You can eat any one of your choice.
